- As you should all know by now Rich Hickey is speaking at JAOO Aarhus 2009. He has two talks: “An introduction to Clojure” in the Programming Languages Track and “The Clojure Concurrency Story” in the Concurrency Track which I am hosting (REALLY looking forward to it!). This is your chance to meet Rich Hickey in person!
- I am arranging a Clojure Workshop at JAOO 2009. The event is free so you don’t have to buy JAOO tickets to attend (however, I will get you a discount on tickets if you like!). We have allocated two hours, but haven’t decided exactly what to do – please post suggestions in the comments. Azul Systems has promised to let us access one of their 864 core machines to play with – that will be so much fun. Also, of course Rich is attending and I think we can probably talk him into telling us a bit about the future of Clojure… These are interesting times to live in Denmark
Free Clojure workshop at JAOO – featuring Rich Hickey. October 6, 2009, 17.30 – 19.30. Registration: https://secure.trifork.com/aarhus-2009/freeevent/register.m?eventOID=2093

Monday, Sept. 7th in Aarhus, location: Trifork.
Wednesday, Sept. 9th in Copenhagen, location: Trifork Cph.
